Saatvik Mango Sprouts Salad

 



Namaskaram Everyone 🙏,

                 I hope everyone are doing well. Am sure 2020 is going to be the year that will never be forgotten. The world has changed because of one virus. Things we took for granted were also off limits to reach, I feel very sorry for people who had to suffer with Covid and to everyone who lost someone near and dear.

                 My heartfelt Gratitude to all Medical Professionals, Front liners and everyone who stood upfront for many other lives who were suffering, I still can't believe how the year started, its almost to end and there are no changes. Our homes are playing the roll of office rooms, schools, playgrounds and more. I hope Mother Earth Heals sooner.

                 At the same time I Feel so happy to be back to blogging after so many years. This blog has been something special to me always and just getting back to something that I love to do is sure a happy feel. My husband was the biggest support when I started this blog and he is again the push to restart my blogging.

                   Here I have a simple Saatvik Mango Sprouts Salad as a start. This is a very easy recipe and a healthy one. Our family is trying to eat atleast 50% of our meal raw by including fruits or raw vegetables or salads like these. My little one helped me with this recipe as this is one of her favorite salad too. With flavors like sweetness from mangoes, sourness from lemon, nuttiness from sprouts/groundnuts am sure this will be in your favorite salad list too, Lets walk this recipe together.


Ingredients:

  • Peanuts(Soaked Overnight or 6-8 hrs) - 1/4 cup
  • Mung Bean Sprouts - 1/4 cup
  • Mango(Chopped) - 1/4 cup
  • Lemon Juice - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Pepper(Crushed) - a pinch

    Preparation Method:
    • Take a clean bowl, Add Soaked Peanuts into it (make sure to soak the peanuts overnight or atleast 6-8 hrs) 


    • Now add sprouted Mung/Moong beans along with chopped Mango


    • Lets season the salad now with lemon juice, a pinch of salt


    • Add a pinch of crushed pepper. Stir well and serve
