Fish is a wonderful Ingredient that can be added to our meal now on. They help us keep warm from inside along with protein benefits. Salmon is a delicious Fish variety with tons of goodness in it. It is the most recommended fish for Heart Patients because its loaded with Omega-3.
This is a simple recipe with packed flavors from Roasted Garlic and Fresh herbs, Baked to perfection. Take this as a main course with some vegetable side for a heart healthy meal.

Ingredients: (Serves 2 people)
For Oven Roasting Garlic:
- Garlic - 1 whole ball
- Olive oil - 1 teaspoon
For Baking Salmon:
- Salmon - 2 Fillets (6 ounce each/ Cleaned and pat dried)
- Sesame Oil - 2 Tablespoons
- Dried Oregano - 1 Teaspoon
- Salt - 1 Teaspoon or as needed
- Black Pepper Powder - 1 Teaspoon
- Lemon Juice - 1 Tablespoon
- Parsley - 1 Tablespoon(Finely chopped)
- Turmeric Powder - 1/4 teaspoon (Optional)
For Sweet Corn Pomegranate Salad bed:
- Sweet Corn(Steamed) - 1/2 cup
- Pomegranate - 1/2 cup
- Salt - as needed
- Pepper - as needed
- Lemon Juice - 1 teaspoon
Method :
For Roasting Garlic:
- Remove papery outer skin from garlic(do not peel or separate cloves). Cut the top off garlic bulbs. Brush with olive oil.
- Wrap garlic bulb in a heavy duty foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until softened. Cool for 15 minutes. Squeeze the garlic from bottom to remove all the flesh out.
For Baking Salmon:
- Prepare the marinade by adding in Roasted garlic(Method above),Sesame oil, Salt, Black pepper, Dried Oregano, Parsley, Turmeric Powder in a glass bowl.
- Place the salmon in a baking dish and cover with the prepared marinade. Marinate the fish for about an hour in the refrigerator, turning occasionally to make sure the marinade covers all over.
- Preheat oven to 375 degree. Take Foil papers to hold the fish like packets. Place the fish in the middle pour some marinade on the top and pack them to separate packets. Bake the sealed salmon packets in the oven for 30-35 minutes or until easily flaked with a fork. Open carefully once they are done and serve on the bed of your favorite vegetable.
